We send all of our thanks to Aileen Deeney Susie Forrest, Lyndsey Hunter, Lyndsey McMillan and Emma Marshall, who ran the Glasgow Womens 10K in record time. Together they raised an amazing £940 for the fund.
LEFT – expat Joe McGeachy, with a fistful of dollars for our cancer care appeal. Joe, who emigrated to America as a teenager, was touched by the plight of two aunts fighting cancer and pledged to help in Gerry’s fund-raising appeal for the IRH.
Joe said. “I’d met Gerry before and during his treatment and nominated his appeal for the club’s annual fund-raising drive. “We are all expats from Scotland and Ireland in the Celtic Supporters’ Club (Stamford, Connecticut), everyone was happy to help.
